Spera Special Events caters exclusively in full-service planning and design for weddings and other celebrations.

I partner with clients to help them develop and realize their own vision, while being mindful of budgets and logistical considerations. Creativity and professionalism are of the upmost importance in this process. Each client receives focused attention, due to the limited number of clients I take on each year. 

A typical full-service wedding requires approximately 300 to 400 hours of work to plan, design, budget, book and execute. After an initial consultation to get a sense of the scale of your event, I can determine the approximate amount of time that will be required; my fee is based on this determination.

I give all potential clients the same piece of advice: Ultimately, you should hire a wedding planner with whom you click. You'll be working with her quite a bit in the weeks and months leading up to your big event!

Full Service planning includes but is not limited to:

  • Hotel Room Block bookings

  • Transportation needs

  • Venue site inspections

  • Event design

  • Request proposals and budgets for all vendors necessary for event

  • Book all vendors (venue, invitations, caterer, florist, table & chair/furniture rentals, linen rental, specialty lighting, entertainment, photographer, make up artist etc.)

  • Create floor plans

  • Create budget summary

  • Ensure vendors are paid timely

  • Create production schedule 

  • Manage load in, event and break down
